Blocks Cubes 2048 is an endless block-merging puzzle game. The player's goal is to merge glossy, colorful numbered blocks in matching clusters to form higher-numbered blocks and earn related points for as long as possible.
The player selects two or more matching blocks in adjacent stacked, side-by-side, or diagonal positions to merge the pieces. A new higher-numbered block then forms at the selection point.
No matter the number of blocks in a cluster, the new block never displays a number that's more than the sum of a matching pair. For example, if the player selects a 2 block in a cluster of eight adjacent blocks, all of the blocks merge together at the selection point to form a new 4 block. A cluster that contains blocks marked with 16 merge to form a 32 block.
Blocks Cubes 2048 allows the player to quit at any time. The player can use a left-pointing back arrow button below the blocks to return to the home screen. They can also start over without leaving the play screen by selecting a semicircular back arrow button. Their current score in the upper-center position then resets.
The game provides the player with help to protect their score when they're nearly out of moves or want to merge specific blocks. It displays a floating white glove to provide a free selection-point hint. It also offers the player access to a hammer booster button to remove a single block. It provides three free uses, and then the player must view ads to continue to access the tool.
